Seattle (西雅图)
I have been to Seattle three times this year. This is the American city I have visited the most. The first time I went, I celebrated the New Year with my husband there, watching the fireworks at the Space Needle. It was beautiful and unforgettable. The year began at the Space Needle.

Mountain View (山景城)
This is the U.S. city where I spent the longest time and made some of my closest friends. During that period, I walked almost every day along the Stevens Creek Trail. I snapped this photo near the Shoreline end, and it still brings back all those memories.

Huangshan City (黄山市)
It was a short three-day trip. My hushand and I climbed Mount Huangshan, and before heading back to Beijing, we spent a night in Xixinan Ancient Village. The village was quiet and serene, with very little commercialization. I really love this place.

Qinhuangdao (秦皇岛)
Qinhuangdao is a seaside city just 2–3 hours east of Beijing by high-speed train. This April, we spent a relaxing weekend by the sea and enjoyed the fresh ocean breeze.

Zhengding County (正定县)
About 2 hours west of Beijing by high-speed train, we visited Zhengding for a weekend trip. The county is full of history, with many ancient temples. This photo shows Moni Hall at Longxing Temple, which has stood for nearly a thousand years—peaceful and timeless.

Shaoxing (绍兴)
I visited my sister in Shanghai and took a side trip to Shaoxing. We explored Lu Xun’s hometown and rode a traditional black-awning boat, experiencing the charm of a typical Jiangnan water town.

Nanjing (南京)
This is my fourth visit to Nanjing. On my previous trips, I usually hung out with friends, but this time it was a business trip, as our company had a meeting there. During our free time, I got the chance to explore the city with my colleagues. We visited Xuanwu Lake Park and Nanjing Zoo. I absolutely love Xuanwu Lake Park, this photo was taken there. I’m sharing it here to capture the relaxing feeling it gave me, reminding me of the comfortable temperature and warm sunshine.

Beijing (北京)
I spend most of my time in Beijing for work. This photo was taken on the bridge that crosses the 4th Ring Road, which I cross every day on my way to and from the office. From the bridge, I can look into the distance and feel the presence of nature. On one side of the bridge is home, where I live in one of the apartments on the left, and on the other side is work, with my office about 500 meters past the buildings on the right.
